The EuroFIR Food Forum is our annual networking event hosted in Brussels, providing members and clients with an opportunity to meet one another and explore issues associated with developing, maintaining, and publishing food composition data as well as exploitation for research and commercial purposes. Core events include the FoodCASE User and the EuroFIR Discussion Groups (Tuesday 18th April 2023) and the General Assembly (Wednesday 19th April 15:30-17:30). This year, we are hosting three workshops; Choosing your route to open science will explore how data, tools, and services can be shared using Creative Commons licenses and why business chose open source approaches; FNS-Cloud will host Researcher's journey through FNS-Cloud, showing food and nutrition researchers how this cloud solution might be used in the future; and Food Composition Data in Europe will explore how open science is impacting publication of food composition data and opportunities for EuroFIR.
Members and clients are invited to attend and take advantage of the opportunities to network, expand their knowledge and find solutions, present their ideas and work to other compilers and those using food composition data, for people to meet them, and learn about issues affecting your research or commercial interests.
